Cannabis plants make a green substance called “chlorophyll” to make energy from sunlight through a process called “photosynthesis”. Chlorophyll is actually what makes plants green! When a plant is stressed, or receiving an over-abundance
oflight, the chlorophyll gets used up and the plant’s green color fades away. This fading is referred to as “bleaching”.
