Now that fall has settled in, we hope that you have already got started indoors long ago. If not, we’ve got a good one for you. Ensure consistent and continual harvests with a perpetual grow tent setup that is simple and effective.
The perpetual harvest.
Here is a quick rundown of a perpetual harvest, if you are not familiar with the idea:
Let’s say you have 2 awesome female plants still vegging.
You take 2 clones from each, and place one of the ‘mothers’ in flowering, while you keep the other in veg.
2 weeks go by, and those clones are ready to transplant, so you move them to bigger containers.
You go back to the vegging mother and take 4 more clones, and get them in the cloner.
An additional 2 weeks goes by, and your clones are ready to go into flowering.
The initial ‘mother’ is in week 4 of flowering, while the original clones are at 0 days of flowering.
But remember, your other 4 clones are now ready to be transplanted, and you need to take another 4 clones…
What was just described above was the processes behind a (roughly) 4-week perpetual harvest.
Meaning that if we continued that process, we would harvest 4 plants, every 4 weeks (besides the initial ‘mother’ we put into flowering).
The economics behind the idea is very simple, harvest smaller batches more often. Why spend 4 days trimming once every 2 and a half months or so, when you can spend 1 day trimming every 4 weeks? Why harvest 132oz all at once when you can harvest 48oz every 4 weeks?
This technique/strategy isn’t for everyone, but if you are growing to maintain cheaper, excellent smoke, this overview of the best grow tent set up for a perpetual harvest is worth your time.
Some growers are completely against grow tents and prefer larger more elaborate setups to produce huge yields of high-quality bud. There is of course nothing wrong with that, in fact, if you have space and resources to do it, DO IT!
But what about the grower that’s looking for consistent harvest to maintain a personal supply of high-quality cannabis?
This overview is for anyone looking to consistently harvest on any interval period of time with just a single grow tent that allows for propagation, veg, and flowering in a single unit. We will be focusing mainly on the type of 2-in-1 grow tent that will allow anyone with a small amount of space to grow a perpetual harvest extremely efficiently.

The Grow Tent
This is obviously the key to the entire operation, keeping your grow organized and in a single space.
We are highlighting this particular tent because of its size – 9ft wide, 4ft deep, and 6.75ft tall. The flowering chamber measures 7ft by 4ft with the veg chamber measuring 2ft by 4ft. This gives you enough room to consistently pull down a fairly decent harvest as often as you’d like, depending on your offset time you decide.
The convenience of this particular grow tent is the fact that there is space for your mother(s), clones, veg plants, and your flowering plants.
Perpetual Recap
Here’s the recap for how you can leverage this particular grow tent to consistently harvest.
Take clones. Keep one plant for a mother, flower any others.
After 2 weeks, transplant clones. Take 4 more clones.
2 more weeks, move initial clones to flowering. Transplant the 4 clones.
After 2 weeks, move your 4 clones into flowering, transplant the next 4 clones, take 4 additional clones.
So what are you waiting for? Get started on your perpetual harvest and keep harvest high-quality smoke.
